🌿 The 21-Day Radical Realignment
Why Dry Brushing & Supporting Your Detox Pathways Matters
No video added to this lesson yet.
Support your body's natural detox pathways.
- Try dry brushing or a hot/cold shower contrast. (If you don't have a dry brush, a hairbrush works to circulate movement — be careful using wood-handled brushes in the shower, as they can grow mold.)
- Focus food: Chia or hemp seeds for healthy fats and fiber.
- Journal prompt: After today's ritual, how do you feel in your skin?
Your body is constantly detoxing through the skin, lymphatic system, liver, kidneys, and lungs. When these pathways are supported, you often feel lighter and clearer. When congested, you may notice puffiness, sluggishness, or brain fog.
Dry brushing helps:
- Stimulate the lymphatic system — lymph relies on movement, not a pump, and brushing toward the heart encourages flow.
- Increase circulation — light friction boosts blood flow, bringing oxygen and nutrients to tissues.
- Support skin detox — exfoliating dead skin helps one of your biggest detox organs work efficiently.
- Enhance body awareness — a few intentional minutes can calm the nervous system.
Think of dry brushing and other gentle detox rituals (contrast showers, hydration, sweating, movement) as clearing the pathways so your body can do what it's already designed to do.
